Ted: There is nothing wrong with specifying higher Tg board material but it
is just part of the equation. You also need higher temperature ratings and
times for decomposition and delamination properties. Also reduced CTE for
higher layer count boards.
So some of the early lead-free laminate materials are being replaced with
newer generation higher performance products.
