Oh, sorry. I think I forgot to answer MA/NY DDave's question about the
300 ppm as the threshold level for lead.
I think it was just part of the settlement agreement and set at a level
that the producers could live with without a lot of work or expense.
My take on it is that since the Mateel Group was just after the money,
once they got that I don't think they cared about the rest.  They know
darn well that no one was ever in any danger from the cables and wires.
