I am assuming you mean the US market.

To date the most far reaching state regulation of chemicals is California's Proposition 65.  This requires a warning label for products that may expose people to hazardous chemicals.  Among the chemicals identified as in use electronic products are lead and cadmium.  The most likely sources of these for E products is from PVC cables or laminate and surfaces which customers are likely to have physical contact with.  It is imperative that the levels of lead or cadmium in these surfaces be analyzed and evaluated for their risk.

There are also many states which regulate products which contain mercury. If your products contain mercury, you should start here:
