Hi SanMina-Mike, Kay, IPC LF Listservers,

First off I agree with Tin's Kay   "NO"

I think you better read JESD97 again, the Forward particularly.

From what I understand of your note and the standard that you are quoting,
the components should already have an e? designation and you should keep
that intact as you repackage, retape, etc the components.

To move to the next step, that is to call and label the entire component
RoHS compliant takes a bit more work. It may well be RoHS compliant at
present yet you have to check out the details.

Read some of Kay's links and the gang of prohibited substances and then
again this homogenous term for things like plating or coatings.
