We have many different products mostly flash semi's being used for
different customers in various applications.

One of the engineers on the shop floor said that he had been in
conversations with management where someone had said that because we
made products that were non disposable & likely to be in use for a great
number of years they may get exemptions etc.

Although we have a lot of Leadfree SMT components, many of our non lead
free ones will just be given away to colleges etc (don't just throw them
away, many can still use them).

We will still have nonconforming product on our shelves after the ROHS
cut off date. Can this be used over certain timescales or returned to
vendor or totally scrapped?
