Whatever the coating type, I would say that the coating would have been
affected - but to what degree?

Has the circuit you talk about failed?

If it hasn't failed, then what is your concern?

If the circuit is working OK, then the coating is doing its job. It might
have been affected, but not enough to cause or contribute to failure.
