Solder plated copper core balls are available with sizes from about 0.25 -
0.5mm dia.  Not sure what types of solder plating finishes are available,
but suspect PbFree materials maybe available.  BGA mfg with such balls
likely to be a non-standard product.  Senju-Comtek is one source for the
balls (  http://www.senjucomtek.com  ).

We currently have a number of custom BGAs using high lead balls to maintain
a fixed Z-axis height.
We are trying to move them to a lead free.  What alternatives are out
there?  I have read about a
polymer core ball but am concerned about the current carrying capability of
such a ball, our devices
are typically high power.  Any information would be greatly appreciated.
