Can anyone out there let me know their experience of how long OSP finishes
can be allowed to stand after between reflow cycles and before through hole
soldering after two reflow cycles.
Is there much variation between different OSPs and are there any tests that
can be performed to check the integrity of the OSP finish after it has seen
a reflow cycle?
Finally, what is the expected shelf life of OSPs and do any special storage
conditions need to be observed. I have heard everything from weeks to 3
years!
Thanks,
Neil
