Hi Chad,
The question, as posed, does not make sense. If you want 10 psi applied to
any size area, the pressure needs to be 10 psi regardless of the size of the
area. If you apply the pressure by a single load, than the load needs to be 40
lbs, not psi. However, the presure/stress distribution is likely rather uneven.
