Seems like a rather odd requirement but your number is correct


Length * width * pressure
2" x 2" * 10 psi = 40

Or if you knew the pressure applied and wanted to know what the part saw:

pounds per square inch or
Pounds / square inch
40 / 4 = 10

You might use the latter example to tell your customer you accidently set
the press pressure to 50 psi which resulted in 12.5 psi on the part.
