Until a product is fully converted is there any point in marking it as being
in transition? It either is or it isn't leadfree. It is sort of like (not
that this applies to that many on this forum...) being almost pregnant. You
either are or you aren't...

The IPC-1066 standard is very clear for marking something that has gone
through the full conversion cycle of lead-free, but for those boards
that are not yet fully converted, what marking schemes have been used?
We have the added wrinkle that some of our boards are submerged in a
dielectric oil and conventional label adhesives tend to desolve in this
oil.
