Ken,
We currently are collecting 100% material declarations on all parts. We are accepting self declared compliance letters in extreme situations as an interim to receiving full declarations. We are preparing to show due diligence should any questions arise.
Take care,
Cliff

Subject: [LF] Certificate of Compliance (CoC) v/s Material Declaration
(MD)
Leadfree Experts,
When authority in EU question the products for RoHS compliance, do we have
to provide Certificate of Compliance (CoC) or Material Declaration (MD) will
be sufficed? Currently, we do not ask CoC for every part numbers. If that is
required then we may have to change our procedure.
Any comments will be highly appreciated.
