Folks: Has published notice of RoHS MCV adoption been made yet? Can someone

Hi Jerry,

on September 23rd 2004 there was published a "Proposal for a Council
Decision amending the Directive 2002/95/EC" which means an amendment to the
RoHS. In this amendment is stated, that the following note should be added:

In the Annex to Directive 2002/95/EC the following note is added:

"For the purpose of Article 5(1)(a), a maximum concentration value of 0.1%
by weight in homogeneous materials for lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium,
polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE)
and of 0.01% by weight in homogeneous materials for cadmium shall be
tolerated."

This is the plain text of the proposal for the amendment, nowhere is stated
a "intentionally added". This proposal is now in decision by the Council
and there have to be a decision not later than three months after referral
of the proposal. This means there have to be a decision until December 23rd
2004.
