Hi Ed, Dan, IPC LF Listservers,

Ed, Back in 2001 at least, this was discussed on the list. Here is a link
for one of the messages. I used California as the Search term. In addition
to GordonDavy who started this note stream, I also remember that Bose-DanK
wrote about this subject a long time ago.

What is most noteworthy in my memory, was that an organization similar to
TURI in Mass existed in California and had open informational meetings to
help them write the actual CA regulations based on these CA laws.
