Southern New England Chapter
MEETING OF THE SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND CHAPTER
OF THE IPC DESIGNERS COUNCIL
Date: Tuesday, the 8th of February, 2005
Where: Connies in Derby
Time: Networking 6:00pm
Topic: Professional Development
The face of the electronics industry has been changing for several years.
During this period we have witnessed employment opportunities become scarce and
highly competitive for those opportunities that do surface. Therefore, it
becomes imperative that one learns how to present ones self as a true
professional to obtain a competitive advantage, both internal to your company as well
as outside your company.
This session is intended to provide guidance to marketing yourself within
your company as well as outside your company. This includes the workplace
environment, resume and the interview process. This material has been presented
at several major conferences, receiving rave reviews by the attendees.
Speaker: Gary Ferrari, Ferrari Technical Services, New Milford, CT.
Host: This months meeting is hosted by the Nutmeg Chapter of the SMTA and
The Southern New England Chapter of the IPC Designers Council.
