I think it would be as any other gold, the more pure the gold the softer. 
Appearance is different from 14kt to 18kt and 23kt..
I'm no expert, so don't take it for gospel.  The real pro's will be 
telling us soon.

If galvanic gold plating used, what is the difference between soft and
hard gold ?
(appearance, durability, environment resistance etc.)
