        Hi Ken:
        I recommend to purchase a compressor.  Compress air is a must in manufacturing. You can get a very quiet one from Home Depot for about 700 dls. A vertical tank takes less space and the air impurities can be extracted a bit easier.

As we don't have compressed air in the building, I have been asked to find
out - Is there any vacuum sealer that does not need compressed air?

We have a bench-top by AmeriVac that works well and fairly cheap. We just
use shop air.
