I've done this many times by converting any type of graphics file to DXF
(AutoCAD) format, using CorelDraw! and then simply importing the DXF
file into the Vutrax ECAD system. I've used this to scan in the two
sides of a bare board (obviously not multilayer) using a pro flatbed
scanner, retouching the bitmap, and then recreating Vutrax files, with a
precision much better than 0.0005". It was then possible to generate
Gerber files for making duplicates of the originals.
