I am interested in seeing the results of this poll as well.
In my particular case, I have one client who pays $35 per hour
which is one hell of a bargain for him but he does feed me a
steady diet of evening work. Another client pays me $55 per hour
but the designs are very sparatic and always emergency runs :-)
I have heard tell of other consultants getting $75 per hour here
in Silicon Valley.
BTW, I am available for contract work in the $50-$75 range - LOL.

If this is not appropriate, please let me know.
Is there a "going rate" for contract pcb layout these days? It has been
years since I "subbed" at home, and I am happily employed full time - so I
am NOT looking - just trying to get a feel for the times. Thank you!
Sincerely,
