Ted,
Yup, its possible. I have done it several ways in the past:
a. Make each line a finger of an interdigitated comb pattern.
b. Run a serpentine or spiral pattern towards the inner side of the
array.
c. Run two parallel lines through the center of the mounting pads
(rather than a full comb).
Each approach supposes that you have a mechanical-only BGA, no internal
die. If you have an internal die, the internal resistances mess up the SIR
measurements and will in all likelihood short the pattern.

Hi Technetters,
Does anyone know whether it is possible to design a
SIR pattern to place under a connect or BGA (Full
Array)?
Thanks all in advance.
Ted
