I have to agree with you Brian. I stayed out of this until now, figured
others more expert than myself would speak up. The supposedly "green"
technology spouted about ignores the real consequences. Electric, non
polluting cars sound great. Where do you get the electricity to charge them?
Build dams for clean hydroelectric power? Nuclear power? Burn oil?
How about solar? All have , to someone at least, unacceptable environmental
effects.

I never proposed mixing the H2 and O2 to produce BANG. There are a
number of ways of non-explosively combining the two gases safely, the
simplest being a straightforward hydrogen flame.
