Bill,

I agree with Leo, however what is normal?  We use an A.P.E. rework SMT
station here and there are very few qualified rework operators.  We have
either had damages to the PCB as well as to the components.  Usually the
component has been found to be damaged before the PCB.  There isn't area
left between the onset of component damage and pcb damage.  The process
has to be closely monitored because the temperature can change so rapidly.

Just a centavo or dos from here.
