Ted,

You will need to contact your PWB supplier because the coupons must come from the fab house that you use.  They must also be from the same substrate configuration  (i.e. material, soldermask and surface finish) that you use.  If you are going to comply with IPC requirements you will need coupons from each supplier and each fab configuration that you have. Therefore, you cannot simply purchase off the shelf coupons.  Sorry.  Perhaps your fab house will have some with your configuration already available.

Hi Fellow Technetter,

Does anyone know a place to get off-the-shelf SIR test
coupons.  IPC supposes to have it, but nothing showed
up when I search for "B-24".

I am also looking for a place that can run the SIR
test as well.  Please let me know it anyone out there
has a contact.
