You mean handheld? We have some. Not easy to use. Either you burn components or you don't obtain melting. I'd not use them for sensitive components. I've heard some operators scream and say very bad words when the invisible hot gas hits a finger. Can check brand if you want.

If you mean repair stations with TV monitor, camera, exchangeable nozzles, NC coordinate stage etc, we have some of that kind also, but these may not be called 'air pens'..

guys,
any one used hot air pen for parts rework?  any brand you can recommend?  I
saw "welding pen" on-line with Temp 20-600 C.  It is a bit scary (melt
everything possibly).  I only need small outlet of 3-5 mm diameter (small
the better) for fine pitch, but control at <200 - 250 C (don't want to be
smelly)...Hopefully, it come with temp control.
