Did not realize I was defying death... been drinking DI water all my life... on and off... because it was handy...

And can still sit up and write about it... amazing the resilience of the body..

About bugs growing in it...

Remember, a deionizer only takes out ions... and most organics, the kind of chemicals that feed bugs, are not ionic.. so, are left in solution...you get these out with a carbon filter.

But, most of the deionizers I have seen lately, usually have some sort of UV protection to zap the critters...
