If it is natural latex, it will probably not dissolve, but it should
disintegrate in a 50/50 mixture by volume of acetone and kerosene
(caution flammable and toxic) with immersion times of a few hours. At
the worst, it will swell and become friable. If not, try adding an equal
volume of methylene chloride (toxic, non-flammable) to this mixture.
After removing the latex, I'd recommend a DI water wash to remove the
ionic components left by the mask.
