assigned and administered by Telcordia as the maintenance agent for ANSI
(American National Standards Institute) Standard T1.220, which is the
specification for these codes. The code is a four character alphabetic code
that represents a company that manufactures equipment or provides supplies
and/or services to the telecommunications industry.

Does anyone know what "CL-CODE-MFR" code is and why one needs it? This
Telcordia assigned code to the manufacturer.
