Larger frames are available and we can make stencils for those. For example
there is a Panasonic "LL" frame which is 700x1000mmOD, 30mm thick, and we
even have 29x45"OD, 1.5" thick.
Even larger frames are available and I have heard of someone who built a
whole SMT line able to handle what we called the "ping-pong" table because
the stencil was that large more (slight exaggeration). It is easier to get a
large stencil than to get all the other equipment to handle boards that
require such large stencils!

Have a nice weekend,

no, not the surfing kind...

I'm wondering if any of you assemblers have experience with large boards. I
have been asked to investigate how to assemble a 13"x27" board

Aren't paste screen frames 27"x27"?

If the 13" side fits on the conveyor, does it matter how long the board is?

Would it help at all to shave off an inch or three?

not crazy, just adventurous,
Jack
