Kaye - if you check out the appendix of 4552 - ENIG spec you will see the
data for membrane switches - 1.5 million cycles before we stopped the test -
the board surface was perfect after the test. For the 4553 I Ag
specification we tested to 1 million cycles and are recommending its use for
non class 3 applications, concerns being the active and dynamic nature of
the surface.

Is ENIG a good reliable surface finish for keypad membrane switches that
cannot be bussed to the edge of the board?
If not, what be a good surface finish for Lead-Free keypad switches.
