I just looked at your pictures.
Looks quite strange. I mean the colour, for me that looks like burned
flux. Especially in fig.1 I don't have the feeling as if I could see the
solder and usually the flux residues are transparent and not brown and
bubbly.
Reading the wetting. What I can guess to be the edge of the solder it
looks like a non perfect wetting, very much as the one I am used now in
lead free soldering.
I would have a close look to the process parameters in the first
place.
