If we are using no-clean, is there any danger of leaving all vias exposed?

I know there has been a lot of discussion about tenting one side or the
other (or both) or plugging, or encroaching up to the hole size, but not
much about opening everything up.

Am I venturing into dangerous territory? The only downside I can think
of (as a designer) is having to move the vias out away from the pads to
get a little more mask between them.
