Can you fellow technetters weigh in on a best practices question:

If debris on a PCB needs to be blown off (shavings, dried flux residue, etc) using compressed air, what type of air is used?

Is the air generally used in industry using a handheld static neutralizer with filter? Is the gun installed using an air and or oil filter? Is there a regulator at each work station in front of the air gun?

Thanks

Bob Wettermann
