I Googled Esco-Triton and got nothing. Is there more information that you might have to get us closer to what you are actually using?

We have used these for years.  Readily available from Esco-Triton (spelling correct?).  We have three smaller units that work well for small pieces.  The only tip failure we have seen is when dropped.  For our more demanding large solder connections we have the Tim Allen version that is rated for 1000W... WoooHooo! You want heat, this baby has got it.  Awesome for heating copper tubing and large lugs on heavy gauge wire or other high wattage demanding applications.  We were able to heat a ring lug for 4 gauge wire to soldering temperature, on the 500 watt setting, in about 2 seconds.
