Good morning;
Usually you are able to tell the difference in the quality of gold by the
color. 10k gold looks a lot different than 18k or even 24k. Take a trip
to a jewelry store and look at the difference or maybe you can go to
google to find a chart. Mil thickness could also play a part.

I've got some questions, please .
1. Does anybody use OSP on PCB for automotive assemblies and is it
reliable enough ?
2. Can the galvanic gold-plated pads have different colour shade
from various manufacturers and is the gold-colour shade important for
the proper contact ?
3. Is there any note of gold-colour shade in the IPC standards ?
