Hi Folks,

We've been kicking the question of "when exactly do products need to be RoHS
compliant?" All of our discussions point to the intrepretation of "put on
the market", which I know from this listserver is discussed. However, I've
reviewed the DTI consultations and can't seem to find much discussion and/
or documentation.

Other ways of asking the same question: Is an OEM finished good inventory on
the shelves (or warehouses) in the EU okay until the inventory is burned
off, even if past the 07/01/2006 date? Or must an OEM turn or restock their
"lead containing" inventory with "lead free" inventory?

Has anyone seen anything that discusses this point further?

Best Regards,

Roland DuCote
