Hello,

on the website of the DTI the new Perchads Report was published in September 2004
http://www.dti.gov.uk/sustainability/weee/Perchards_Report_September04.pdf

In this report the regulations in all EU member states regarding WEEE is examined (also the new ones, Cyprus, Estonia, Latvia,...).

Another Perchads Report is announced for December 2004, dealing with ROHS regulations in the several states.

In Germany for example both directives are realised in one single law. The law was adopted by the cabinet and has now to be signed by the government. It is expected, that the law will be published beginning of 2005.

Regards
Gerhard Haubner

Betreff: [LF] WEEE/RoHS - UK consultation period

Just a reminder to all that issues you wish clarified on WEEE/RoHS UK implementation need to be with the DTi by this Friday, 29th Oct 2004. Remember they need to be well justified and reasoned concerns. Responses to go to:

Is anyone aware of any other consultations going on in other EU member states? This forum seems very UK/USA centric, would welcome views from the many other EU countries...........

Regards,
Chris
