Plenty if you are using a polar material or water...If the disk comes off,
there is fluid getting down between the plastic cover and the Aluminum
casing...Aluminum is both amphoteric and electropositive so if polar fluids
are trapped there they will form a planar electrolytic cell and slowly eat
the case. At some point the corrosion will push the plastic away enough to
allow fluids and moisture to collect in those locations...
