I have puzzled over this one for years, and finally realized one reason why
there are differences in the numbering of diodes.
First - I number diodes as Pin1 = Cathode.
That being said, I discovered that those that use Spice (or a derivative
thereof - I.E. Circuit simulation) seem to number diodes with Pin1 = Anode.
You may also discover this to be true.
