I have no problem interpreting the diode polarity based on the silkscreen. I
guess the confusion arises for some because diode silkscreen is placed a bit
far away and the line - cathode happen to be next to the left pad. To some,
they treats the pad on the left to be for cathode.
The confusion could be easily resolved by placing the silkscreen above the two
pads. No need for square pad for anode.
