Hi Ted,
A lot of us are in the same boat. We are using Immersion Silver on some boards. There is no standard yet but IPC-4553 is in the works, and you can probably view the draft on the IPC website. The thickness depends on which of two processes is being used. Our spec currently calls for a range of 4 - 22u", which covers both processes.
Thank you,

Subject: [TN] Immersion silver finish
Hi Fellow TechNet,
Is there a industry standard on immersion silver
finish thickness (max and min) number? If anyone is
using this surface finish, please let me know what you
are specifying.
Thanks all in advance.
Ted Kong
