IPC 7525 suggest 2 mil reduction of the stencil apertures from the pads for the PQFP 128's 12 x 63 down to 10 x 61. For a 6 mil stencil this gives an Area Ratio of .71 which should give good print results.

Subject: [TN] stencil thickness
Question?
What thickness stencil do you recommend on a 6"x8"
board with mostly 0603's and a couple of PQFP128's.
The pads on the PQFP are 12 x 63.
TIA
Tony Steinke
