there is written a lot! My sources were e.g. ASM Handbook Microelectronic
Failure Analysis ISBN-0-87170-479-X and ASM Electronic Packaging and
Corrosion in Microelectronics ISBN 0-87170-291-6 and Failure Modes and
Mechanisms in Electronic Packages by Puligandla Viswanadham (Thomson or
Chapman&Hall). And TN archive has, and SMT has etc...you'll get enough to
swim in information!
