Catherine,
If you have any thru-hole components, those footprints may need modification
for wave soldering. Lead free solders do not flow like SnPb - they pretty
much stay where they are. For the footprint information, contact me off
line and I can put you in touch with the source of this information (he's
from a commercial supplier and I'm not sure if I should broadcast his
contact information here). He can also advise you about upcoming seminars
on lead free sponsored by his company. They have already conducted one of
these seminars (a series of six). It was informative and was not a
commercial for their products.
Regards,
Sue

        Dear Cat,

I asked this question before and the answer is no. If you are
referring
to component footprints. I believe I am not wrong to say that as of
to
date, all experiments carried out for lead-free are using the
standard
        footprints for SnPb.

        Welcome aboard the TechNet forum.

        Regards,
        Wee Mei
