Good day,

Not a typical electronics assembly question, but one for the Chemists.  What
would the pros and cons of a nitrite based corrosion inhibitor (to be added
to a non-stainless steel water-only parts cleaning system) vs. a non-nitrite
inhibitor.  What residues might I expect on my parts when cleaned with
either corrosion inhibiting chemistry?
