Kristopher,

My experience in this matter is that PCB manufacturing companies
have not had one common defect that can be detailed as a persistent problem
unless they
have a process issue and then the defect should be able to be traced to a
date code).
Usually there is a myriad of issue's that the public never knows about.
As with all manufacturing there are issue's that come up and make it
ultimately to the end customer.
So to pinpoint one common problem would be difficult.

Hi Kristopher

All our customers tell us they have zero defects and no failures.

We call this "Telling Porky Pies".

I did a net search on your question and came up with one that might be
useful: http://www.allaboutcircuits.com/vol_5/chpt_8/5.html
