I remember a general rule of 20-25% larger for wave. Smaller pin sizes
need to be tighter - much depends on the insertion capability and
component type.

Subject: [TN] Pin Size vs. Plated Through Hole Size
I am looking for a specification that would have information on 'pin
size' vs. 'plated through hole size' design
requirements/recommendations/limits
for wave soldering applications. Does anyone know of any such
specification (internal or external)?
Thank you for any help you can offer.
