In reviewing both specs, I do not see a specification on max height.
Both specs are clear in stating that there is neither a min nor max
specification on fillet height; only that there must be evidence of a
properly wetted fillet.  Therefore, to answer your question, I would say
there is no max height unless driven by design note stating so.

Good mornin' Technetters:

I have a question on components such as chip resistors.  What is the
J-STD or IPC for maximum height that a component is allowed to be above
the board?  Is it like .003 for?
