Recently Pascal from Alcatel, Ted Smith of Silicon Valley Toxics Coalition, among others,
have refer to lead vapor exposure to Chinese recyclers dismantling populated PC boards.
Most participants know that this is a fiction; the "vapors" are flux, not healthy, but not
lead. But I thought I'd check the actual parameters

Handbook of Chemistry and Physics says that lead boiling temperature is 1780 degrees C.
Trade sources say that soldering irons attain 300 degrees C.

The lead vapor myth should be nailed.
