I have looked up every word I can think of in the IPC stuff.

Where in IPC standards does it tell you how wide the main bar should be and
how wide the connection between the bar and the fingers should be?  If it
doesn't specify this data shouldn't it be added?

I found where they define plating bar in the terms - (hoping for a pointer
to the info I was looking for)

I used to just use what was in the CAE Libs but this current lib the edge
fingers don't have the plating bar.  I thought I should know how should
actually be done and tried to look it up.  Surely there are some sort of
do's and don'ts on this topic?
