Hi Gramt

I doubt very much wether the amount of failures that you'll catch at
viscosity checking weighs up to the efforts. And if you do these kind of
checks, should you not be testing tackiness as well ? And a solder
balling test perhaps ?   Better ask you paste vendor to give you a
printout of their final inspection results with each batch.

Hi All,

We currently monitor temp/humidity of our SMT environment - would there
be
added value by introducing viscosity checks? (we do not experience
viscosity-related defects)
